Ilaria Fragetta

Ilaria Fragetta is an international relations professional.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Sapienza
University of Rome and has completed a Franco-Italian double-degree programme with
Sciences Po Lille, specialising in Peace, Humanitarian Action and Development. Her academic
interests include international cooperation, diplomacy, European affairs, human rights and the
promotion of women’s participation and equal opportunities in political and public life.

Ilaria has gained experience in diplomatic and international environments through internships at
the Embassy of Italy in Dar es Salaam and the Embassy of Mexico in Rome, supporting
institutional activities, political reporting, official communications and diplomatic engagements.
She also previously worked in Brussels as a European affairs journalist, covering European
institutions and political developments.

In 2025–2026, Ilaria served as a Youth Representative of the World Food Forum, contributing to
the Gender Equality and Rural Women Empowerment team. She has also completed
specialised trainings, even through the OSCE WIN Academy, in gender equality policies and
child rights.
