Hon. Miriam Onuoha is a Nigerian legislator serving in the House of Representatives of Nigeria, representing Imo State. She currently chairs the House Committee overseeing the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) and is recognised within the National Assembly for her work on education financing and institutional accountability. Hon. Onuoha serves on the Constitution Review Committee and has supported reforms including the Seat Reservation Bill aimed at increasing women’s representation at national and state levels. She previously served as the Chair of the Committee on Disabilities, where she operationalised the legislative framework for Nigeria’s Disability Act.
