Dalia Alic

Advocacy and Partnerships Officer

Dalia Alic serves as an Advocacy and Partnerships Officer at Women Political Leaders (WPL), fostering strategic partnerships that align advocacy, policymaking, and diplomacy to advance inclusive governance and strengthen women’s leadership and representation in politics.

Her professional background spans multilateral diplomacy and policy, communications, external relations, and programme management, with experience across both the public and private sectors. She has worked with institutions such as the United Nations, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the OSCE, UN and International Organisations in Vienna, and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, among others. 

Dalia holds a Bachelor’s in Production, a Master’s in Human Rights, an MBA, and an Executive Diploma in Diplomacy with a specialisation in International Security. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Legal Studies at the School of Law, University of Vienna. Her research focuses on the intersection of international relations, governance, human rights and security in the digital age.

Her contributions have been recognised with distinctions such as the “Future Leader Award” and the “Croatian Women of Influence Award”, and she has been elected an Associate Fellow of the World Academy of Art and Science.
