On 12 February 2026, Women Political Leaders (WPL), in partnership with the International Women’s Democracy Union (IWDU) and Women In International Security Germany (WIIS), will host a high-level convening on the eve of the Munich Security Conference 2026.
As global security challenges evolve, women’s leadership is more vital than ever in shaping effective responses. Welcome Reception for Women Political Leaders, Champions, and Allies brings together women political leaders and eminent allies to exchange perspectives on security policies, multilateral cooperation, and their impact on societies worldwide.
The evening will feature reflections from global leaders and provide an opportunity to connect with peers, engage in thought-provoking discussions, and celebrate the influence of women driving progress in global security.
