The Women in Parliaments Global Forum (WIP) and the OECD have the pleasure of inviting you to the next meeting of the OECD Global Parliamentary Network “on the road”, which will take place in Tokyo on 12-13 April 2016, hosted by the Japanese Diet at the International Conference Room of the House of Representatives.
This event will offer legislators from OECD and partner countries a great opportunity to discuss common challenges, share experiences and learn from each other and OECD experts. The following sessions are currently foreseen: The Global Economic Outlook, the OECD Better Life Index, Gender (women as the driver of economic growth), Disaster Risk Management and Regional Challenges – A view from Asia.

As the meeting in Tokyo will be the first to be held in Asia, we anticipate active participation not only from OECDmember countries but also from partner countries in the Asia-Pacific region.
The event is open to Members of Parliament and Parliamentary officials from OECD and partner countries.
