As President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Hon. Tulia Ackson is one of the world’s leading voices for parliamentary diplomacy and international cooperation. In addition to her role in the IPU, she serves as a Member of the National Assembly of Tanzania and has previously held the positions of Deputy Attorney General, Deputy Speaker, and Speaker of the National Assembly.
