Bio:
The Honourable Kiz Johnson, MP, is the Member of Parliament for St. Philip’s South and serves as Minister of State in the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation in Antigua and Barbuda, with responsibility for Gender Affairs, Youth Development, Community Development, and Social Welfare. She is one of only two women elected to the country’s 17-member House of Representatives.
She represents the people of St. Philip’s South and is committed to advancing policies that strengthen communities, empower young people, promote social inclusion, and expand opportunities for all citizens.
Minister Johnson previously served as an Independent Senator and later as a Government Senator before her election to Parliament in April 2026.
She holds a First-Class Honours degree in Management Studies and International Business from The University of the West Indies and an MBA from the University of South Wales.
Throughout her public service career, Johnson has remained a consistent advocate for gender equality, inclusive leadership, youth development, and community empowerment, helping to advance dialogue and action across Antigua and Barbuda, the Caribbean, and the wider Americas.
