Anela Sylvester

Database & Advocacy Officer

Anela Sylvester works with Women Political Leaders (WPL) as a Database and Advocacy Officer, supporting high-level summits and advocacy initiatives through database management, stakeholder coordination, and support for communications activities.

Her background includes digital marketing and copywriting, event organisation, healthcare support roles, and interdisciplinary project coordination in academic and professional settings. She has managed digital communications and branding assets, supported large-scale events, worked with privacy-related documentation, and coordinated stakeholders across creative, technical, and operational teams.

She is pursuing a dual Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering at Algebra Bernays University and Goldsmiths, University of London, following earlier medical studies at the University of Zagreb, and has completed the MIT Innovation Leadership Bootcamp. Her interests focus on technology ethics, information security, healthcare systems, and human-centered digital design.
