60th Munich Security Conference (MSC)

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) and Women Political Leaders (WPL) forged a significant partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaborative effort, spearheaded by Benedikt Franke of MSC, Silvana Koch-Mehrin of WPL, and Oby Ezekwesili, Chair of the WPL Board, aimed to elevate women’s voices in the realm of international security. Through joint initiatives, such as the Women Parliamentarians Program (WPP), the organizations seek to foster gender diversity and help women contribute meaningfully to global peace, defense, diplomacy, and foreign policy.
WPL thanks the WPL Delegates to the MSC Women Parliamentarians Programme (WPP): Amira Saber, Daina Fernandez Molero, Lídia Pereira, and Neema K. Lugangira for their continuous efforts to advancing women’s leadership.
