From 23-25 March 2015, female Parliamentarians from across the world will convene at the WIP Annual Summit 2015 entitled “New Leadership for Global Challenges”. Key-topics of the 2015 global agenda will be addressed during the conference: Renewed development commitments under the Post-2015 Development Agenda and strategies to achieve gender equality, 20 years after the Beijing Declaration.
One of the highlights of the WIP Annual Summit 2015 will be the presentation of the WIP Awards 2015 that acknowledge the champions in closing the gender gap.
All female Parliamentarians are invited to join the WIP Annual Summit 2015 that will be held at the headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), in cooperation with international institutions such as the United Nations, World Bank, OECD and the European Union.
