Hon. Cde. Mabel Memory Chinomona, is the incumbent President of the Senate, in the 9th Parliament of the Republic of Zimbabwe, elected on the 11th of September, 2018.

After Zimbabwe attained Independence, Hon. Chinomona completed her Secondary School studies before enrolling at Speciss College for a diploma in Local Governance. She moved to Murewa District where she was employed in the Office of the District Administrator until 1989, when she resigned to join the Parliament of Zimbabwe. Hon. Mabel Memory Chinomona has been a Deputy Speaker in the National Assembly from 2013 to 2018. Currently, she is the President of the Senate.
