20 years after the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, the Republic of Rwanda is the only country in the world with a majority of women in the Parliament (64% of MPs).
Female Parliamentarians from more than 30 countries (Algeria, Argentina, Burkina Faso, Chad, Gabon, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kenya, Mexico, Morocco, Poland, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Spain, Uganda, Zimbabwe…) have confirmed their participation in the WIP Summer Summit in Rwanda (1-3 July).
